UK-based startup Azuri has developed a pay-as-you-go interface which allows households to pay for solar power as they use it with scratchcards, making them affordable to those who need them.The Indigo Box won Ashden Award that champions and promote practical, local energy solutions that cut carbon, protect the environment, reduce poverty and improve people’s lives.
